Glosco Steel Inc, is a subsidiary of Glosco Limited, the company is incorporated in 1997, and since then it remained actively engaged in world-wide trade,manufacture and sale of steel and steel-making raw materials.The Company operates in three business segments: steel-making raw materials,steel mills and steel products.

Principal steel-making raw materials supplied by Glosco directly to several operating steel mills in different locations; we deliver natural gas-based products :Direct reduced iron (DRI) - pellet or lump form,Hot DRI (HDRI) DRI at 650º C for charging to an EAF,Hot briquetted iron (HBI) – DRI compacted at 600º C.

Coal-based products: Direct reduced iron (DRI) - pellet or briquette form ,Hot DRI (HDRI) – DRI at 650º C for charging to an electric furnace or coal melter, Hot briquetted iron (HBI)/DRI compacted at 600º C. Glosco also can supply iron ore fines, iron ore bellets and lumb iron,scrap steel and foundry pig iron ,metallurgical coke,foundry coke, and petroleum cokes for both steel industry and power plants. 

Principal products from the steel mills segment include hot-rolled steel and cold-rolled steel. Steel mills segment's hot-rolled steel products include angles, rounds, flats, channels, sheet, wide-flange beams, pilings, billets, blooms, beam blanks and plate.

In the steel mills segment, the deal with manufactures of hot-rolled steel principally from scrap, utilizing electric arc furnaces, continuous casting and automated rolling mills. Cold-rolled steel is manufactured by further processing of hot-rolled steel. In the steel mills segment, hot-rolled and cold-rolled sheet steel are produced to customer orders. In addition, other hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel are manufactured in standard sizes.

The steel mills segment's production was sold to non-affiliated customers, and the remainder was used internally by the steel products segment. Hot-rolled steel and cold-rolled steel are sold primarily to steel service centers, fabricators and manufacturers through-out South America,North America,Europe, the CIS, Asia,Australia,Africa and the Middle East.

In the steel products segment, Glosco Steel Inc. trade cold finished steel, hot-rolled steel which are sold to general contractors and fabricators throughout the world in standard size.
